Point system for qualification tournaments

The point system for the qualification tournaments is very simple if there are 500 players that enter a qualification tournament points will be given in descending order according to the starting players so for instance if you finish 1st you will gain 500 point and if you finish last you gain 1 point, you will also gain 1 additional point for every dollar if prize money you acquire during any qualification tournament.

The second way you can win your seat into the pkr world cup is through 6 and 10 man sit n go tournaments the player who wins the most money between the 22nd of May and the 16th of June, that is the top player from each qualifying nation. Will also win a place in the tournament, For a player to be eligible however they need to have played at least one qualification tournament

Finally you can win a seat through playing heads up sit n gos just the same as the other sit n gos you need to be the highest earning player in your country between the 22nd of May and the 16th of June and also need to have played at least 1 qualification tournament, we have now rounded up the ways to qualify for your team in the pkr world cup.

There are twelve teams that go through to qualify for the main tournament the way to determine the teams is take the 4 highest scoring player from each country and the top 11 scoring countries get a place in the pkr world cup. There is also final team that is entered called the “rest of the world” this team is composed from the best players of the other teams that did not manage to qualify.

The 12 remaining teams will be split into two groups of six each player if he qualifying teams will have to play 2 six man tournaments with points being awarded in each tournament for your placing the top 2 teams from each group will be the teams that progress and play each other in the pkr world cup final.

The group games will take place on the 3rd of July at 18:30 and 20:00 (GMT) tournaments will carry 5000 in starting chips and a 15 minute blind structure.

Each player in the two remaining games will take place in 3 randomly drawn heads up tournaments the team that comes out of the tournament the victor will be crowned the pkr world cup champions.

All Heads up matches will be played at 18:30, 20:00 and 21:30 GMT on 10 July. The structure will be 5,000 starting chips and 8 minute blind levels.
